Moyne Health Services in Port Fairy are offering an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Registered Nurse to join our Residential Aged Care team on a 12 month fixed term, part time (32 hrs per week) basis.
About the Role
As a Graduate Registered Nurse @ MHS, your main objective is to provide safe, person-centred, evidence-informed nursing care under the guidance and support of the multidisciplinary team, ensuring care is delivered in accordance with professional, organisational, legal and ethical standards.
As a Graduate Registered Nurse, you will actively engage in the transition from novice to reflective practitioner by developing clinical competence, expanding professional knowledge and skills within the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and AHPRA standards, and seeking support, supervision and feedback when required. You will take responsibility for practising within your own scope, recognising limitations, and contributing positively to quality care outcomes for individuals, families and carers.
About You
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Nursing
- Registered Nurse with Current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated knowledge of the ANMC competency standards and Codes of Practice
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to problem solve effectively
- Commitment to ongoing education of self
