Motyl Group is seeking a Production Manager to lead production from CAD and CNC machining through to assembly and dispatch. Reporting to the General Manager and supported by a floor supervisor, you will turn project requirements into achievable plans and consistently deliver on time, within labour budgets and to the required quality.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver production milestones, ensuring complete, quality joinery is ready for dispatch
- Coordinate CAD, Purchasing and Project Managers to keep production priorities aligned
- Plan labour and machine capacity to maintain efficient workflow across multiple concurrent projects
- Ensure teams follow internal processes, quality control and reporting
- Develop practical process improvements that increase output and reduce wasted labour
- Track performance against plans and budgets, report to the GM and drive corrective action
- Hold the team accountable for productivity, quality and safety
About you
- Proven production leadership in commercial joinery or manufacturing
- Strong understanding of CNC manufacturing, drawings, materials and assembly
- A record of delivering results in a demanding production environment
- The discipline to maintain established processes and the judgement to improve them
- Clear communication and a practical, consistent approach to managing people
- Confidence using production planning systems; Nexvia experience is an advantage
