We are exclusively partnering with an Australian digital delivery consultancy to appoint a Technical Business Analyst who thrives on velocity, variety, and delivering bespoke software solutions.
Our client specialises in rapid application delivery, modern enterprise app builds, and intelligent automation.
Instead of spending a year on a single system upgrade, you will work directly with diverse enterprise and scale-up clients, turning ambiguous, highly customised ideas into live production software in matters of weeks, not quarters.
What Makes This Role Different?
- AI-Accelerated
Workflow: Work within a practice that actively champions the use of AI tools to augment discovery, accelerate story drafting, prototype data models, and elevate the quality of your analysis.
- True High-Velocity
Delivery: Lead rapid one- to two-week discoveries and partner closely with high-performing cross-functional squads across modern web/mobile, low-code/cloud architectures, and agentic AI.
- Multi-Project Variety: Own requirements across multiple concurrent streams, giving you rapid exposure to different business models, system integrations, and tech stacks.
- Direct Stakeholder Ownership: Run your own client workshops, unpack bespoke business logic, and act as the vital translator between client executives and engineering leads.
- Autonomous, Agile Environment: No rigid waterfall hand-offs. You will work side-by-side with developers, solution architects, and UX designers from ideation through to release.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate collaborative client discovery workshops to dissect complex, non-standard business processes and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications.
- Leverage AI productivity tools to accelerate user story generation, synthesise discovery notes, map workflows, and stress-test edge cases.
- Write high-quality, lean user stories with robust acceptance criteria (Gherkin / Given-When-Then), process flows, entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs), and API integration mappings.
- Manage scope defensibility with clients, prioritising MVP features while keeping business value at the centre of every sprint.
- Balance priorities across two to three fast-paced project streams, ensuring squads have clear, unblocked backlogs ready to build.
- Validate technical feasibility alongside architects and engineers, proactively spotting edge cases, security dependencies, and integration bottlenecks.
