Every second Saturday | 10:00am-2:00pm
Are you a hands-on problem solver with a mechanical background?
We're looking for a practical and reliable Trade Assistant to join our clients team in Arndell Park. You don't need previous food industry experience - we're more interested in your mechanical skills, attitude and ability to troubleshoot and get things working.
This could be a great opportunity for someone looking to take their mechanical experience in a new direction.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for a range of hands-on maintenance and general handyman tasks, helping keep equipment, machinery and the site running smoothly.
Your day may include:

Troubleshooting equipment and mechanical issues

Carrying out general maintenance and repairs

Using hand and power tools
-
Identifying problems and finding practical solutions

Assisting with machinery and equipment maintenance
-
Completing preventative maintenance tasks

General handyman duties around the site

Working safely and keeping the work area organised
What We're Looking For
We're interested in people with a mechanical or technical background, including:

Car, diesel or motorcycle mechanics looking for a new challenge

Machine operators or technicians wanting to move into maintenance

Tradespeople with strong mechanical skills

Hands-on handymen who enjoy fixing and building things

You'll need to be:

Comfortable working in Chilled Environments

Comfortable working around Pork Products
