About the role
The purpose of this role is to participate in warehouse operations and activities. Outbound Supervisor responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and quality checking. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and overall customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in picking, dispatching and ensuring quality of goods
Organise and maintain inventory and storage area
Communicate job expectations and coach employees
Maintain item records and document necessary information
Issue picking slips and hand out orders
Oversee orders being picked and packed
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
Communicate and cooperate with managers and co-workers
Operate and maintain the warehouse and equipment
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
About you
Prior working experience as a warehouse worker for a minimum of 5 years or proven experience as an outbound supervisor
Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Willingness to start at or before 4 am
Desirable: Industry experience in food service/hospitality
