The predicted salary is between 54000 - 66000 $ per year.
Your primary focus will be responding to Sales, Charters and function enquiries, understanding each customer's requirements and presenting suitable options across our fleet and onboard services. You will maintain regular contact with prospective customers, follow up proposals, identify opportunities to increase booking value and ensure every confirmed event is accurately communicated to our reservations, accounts, catering and vessel operations teams.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities for private charters, weddings, corporate events, groups, daily sales and functions.
- Building relationships with prospective customers, businesses, event organisers and all trade partners to generate enquiries and bookings.
- Responding to trade partners, private charter, wedding, corporate event, group and function enquiries.
- Discussing customer requirements, including dates, passenger numbers, catering, accessibility, entertainment and event arrangements.
- Preparing professional proposals and quotations using approved packages, pricing and templates.
- Proactively following up enquiries and working to convert suitable leads into confirmed bookings.
- Recommending appropriate catering, beverage and event options to improve the customer experience and booking value.
- Coordinating deposits, contracts, menus, schedules, run sheets and final passenger numbers.
- Preparing complete operational handovers for reservations, accounts, catering, vessel operations, masters and crew.
About you
- Experience in sales, tourism, hospitality, events, functions or a similar customer-focused role.
- Confidence discussing customer requirements and guiding enquiries toward a booking decision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines.
- Experience preparing quotations, proposals, event schedules or customer documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with dates, pricing, inclusions and booking conditions.
- Competence using Microsoft Office, Canva, customer databases, shared calendars and file-management systems.
- A cooperative approach and the ability to work effectively with operational departments.
- The judgement to manage routine matters independently and elevate non-standard requests appropriately.
