Our client is a leading ASX-listed Australian construction and fitout company with a strong national presence.
The Team
The Legal team provides strategic legal and commercial advice across a diverse portfolio of construction projects, with a strong focus on contract negotiation, risk management and dispute resolution.
Working closely with an experienced General Counsel, the team supports project delivery and commercial operations, partnering with internal stakeholders and external advisers to protect the company's commercial interests.

- Advise on contractual risks, disputes and commercial considerations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist with the management of construction disputes and broader commercial risk.
- Deliver legal training and guidance to internal teams on contractual and regulatory matters.
About you
Ideally, you will have 5β7 years' post-admission experience gained within a well-regarded law firm or in-house legal team.
Additionally, you will have:
- Strong experience in construction law, including front-end, back-end or a combination of both.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and commercial advisory skills.
- A sound understanding of construction contracts, dispute resolution and commercial risk management.
A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and an interest in working closely with business and project teams.
