Our client is seeking a Legal Counsel level lawyer to join its growing construction team, advising clients across a broad range of sectors and businesses. This is a commercially focussed legal role. You will understand the clients' commercial objectives and provide practical, solutions-focused construction advice. The role will have a strong front-end construction focus, with an emphasis on contracting and commercial advice. Our client is open to flexible and remote work; lawyers can be based in Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Melbourne, Newcastle and Perth.
Requirements
- 5 years' post-admission experience, gained in private practice, in-house or a combination of both;
- Front-end construction experience, with a particular passion for drafting and negotiating contracts;
- Strong commercial judgement;
- An entrepreneurial and innovative mindset;
- Australian admission, a current or eligible practising certificate and full Australian working rights.
