About the Role
You will work directly with an NDIS participant who requires support that enhances their independence, wellbeing and quality of life in their own home. This is a consistent, ongoing placement with a mix of day, overnight and night shifts available across the week, so there’s flexibility to find the pattern that suits you.
Key Responsibilities
- Domestic support (light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation)
- Community access and transport to appointments or activities
- Social and emotional support
- Assisting with daily routines and goal-based activities
- Following care plans and working collaboratively with families and allied health professionals
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in disability, aged care or community support (preferred)
- Comfortable around dogs, as the participant has a much-loved pet
- Compassionate, dependable and professional approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with medication administration
- Commitment to promoting client dignity and independence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR Certification (current)
- Valid NSW Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
