Help at Home by Montefiore is a highly regarded Home Care and NDIS provider based in the leafy suburb of Double Bay. We support clients across Greater Sydney and continue to experience significant growth in our business.
As a result, we are seeking an experienced and passionateCasual Physiotherapist to join our dedicated Allied Health team. You will work alongside Allied Health Clinicians, Registered Nurses, Care Coordinators and experienced Aged Care and NDIS professionals in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment committed to delivering exceptional care and outcomes for our clients across Sydney - mainly the Lower North Shore area.
Although this opportunity will be on a casual basis, as the needs of the business continue to grow, there will be opportunity to transition to a full timepermanent position for the right candidate.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally be based in Sydney's Lower North Shore or be willing to travel throughout the area. As this is a community-based position, you will be required to travel between client appointments, making access to a reliable vehicle and a current driver's license essential.
We are looking for a clinician who has experience working within the Aged Care, Community Care, Home Care or NDIS sectors and who is confident providing physiotherapy services independently in clients' homes. Experience in a similar community-based role will be highly regarded.
About the Role
- Conduct physiotherapy assessments and develop personalised treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to support mobility, strength, balance and independence
- Provide falls prevention, pain management and rehabilitation services
- Work collaboratively with our team to achieve positive client outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
- Build strong relationships with clients, families and internal stakeholders
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Experience in community, aged care, NDIS or residential aged care settings (is highly regarded but no essential)
- Strong clinical assessment and rehabilitation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a mobile caseload
