Mona Vale Doctors is a well-established, accredited general practice located in the heart of Mona Vale on Sydney's Northern Beaches. We have an exciting opening for another nurse as our one nurse embarks on the next stage of her career.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Childhood immunisations and early childhood checks
- Travel and other immunisations
- Wound care
- Assisting GPs with procedures (skin excisions, IUD insertions and iron infusions)
- Infection control
- Cold chain management
- Management of supplies and consumables
- Health assessments and preventative health initiatives
- Chronic disease management and care planning
- Patient education and health promotion
- Maintaining recall and reminder system
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Supporting practice accreditation and quality improvement activities
Requirements:
- Permanent resident of Australia
- Current AHPRA registration as a registered nurse
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a registered nurse
- Immunisation Certificate
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of infection prevention and control principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Police Clearance Certificate
- Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Familiarity with Best Practice Software
- Experience in aged care and paediatrics
