Container Transport Allocator and Fleet controller

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Container Allocator / Fleet Controller to coordinate and manage daily container and transport operations. You will ensure deliveries to and from the wharf and customers are allocated correctly and completed on time, while working within Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Fatigue Management, and NHVR requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and allocate daily container transport jobs to drivers and fleet.
- Monitor driver progress throughout the day and adapt schedules as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of jobs, vehicle movements, and customer interactions.
- Respond to customer enquiries with professionalism and a solutions-focused mindset.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve scheduling, delivery, or equipment issues.
- Support compliance, documentation, and general administrative tasks within operations.
Skills & Experience:
- Current continuous experience in fleet controlling and container allocations.
- Good understanding of 1STOP and Container Chain systems, booking slots in VBS.
- Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Highly organised, able to multitask, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail and established computer literacy.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive and collaborative team culture.
