We’re looking for a Senior Workday Functional HCM Consultant who thrives on collaboration, drives delivery excellence, and knows how to bring cross‑functional teams together for success.

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role — working across functional workstreams, guiding the delivery team, and ensuring the program aligns with business goals.

This is a full‑time position.

You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, offshore leads, and key stakeholders to drive quality outcomes — without being tied to day‑to‑day configuration.

But when things get complex, you’re not afraid to dive in, problem‑solve, and lead by example.

This is a role for someone who loves owning the big picture while staying close enough to the details to make a real impact.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to understand HR requirements and deliver tailored Workday HCM solutions from design through implementation.
  • Configure and customize multiple Workday HCM modules to align with unique business processes and goals.
  • Lead full lifecycle Workday implementations, including Phase X projects and post‑production support.
  • Provide strategic guidance on Workday best practices and optimize system usage for long‑term value.
  • Manage project delivery, including risk identification, mitigation planning, and removal of roadblocks.
  • Advise clients on system impacts, integration considerations, and process interdependencies.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to educate clients and ensure effective system adoption.
  • Set and manage client expectations while maintaining alignment with project scope and timelines.
  • Take ownership of issue resolution and follow through on assignments to completion.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of Workday experience with relevant consulting experience
  • Active Workday Certification (in HCM or relevant modules) required.
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end HR functional processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • In‑depth knowledge of how Workday configuration impacts cross‑functional systems and workflows.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Quick decision‑making capabilities in fast‑paced environments, with a strong focus on business outcomes.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with a structured and logical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience independently leading Workday projects and resolving implementation challenges.
  • Ability to manage testing cycles and support the deployment of software and technical solutions.
  • A mindset of continuous improvement, driving innovation and contributing to operational excellence.
