We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Diploma or Certificate III Educator (Lunch Cover) to join our team at Mini Masterminds Schofields (120-place centre). About the Role
As a Diploma / Certificate III Educator, you will work collaboratively with your team to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support each child's learning, development, and wellbeing. You will build meaningful relationships with children and families while contributing to a positive, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and implementation of engaging educational programs
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Observe and document children's learning and development
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality education and care
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and all relevant legislation
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the centre
- Support children's wellbeing, learning, and development through meaningful interactions

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
- Current Child Protection training/certificate
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for early childhood education
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in an early childhood education and care setting (student placement experience will not be considered as relevant employment experience)
- Must be able to work 10am-3pm Mon - Fri (5 days)
- Applicants must have valid Australian working rights. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
