Bullabulling Gold Project | 8:6 roster | Permanent, full-time FIFO from Perth or residential in the Goldfields.

Help build the safety systems, team capability and culture that will support Bullabulling from construction into operations.

About us: Minerals 260 Limited is an ASX-listed gold development company advancing its flagship Bullabulling Gold Project, approximately 25 kilometres southwest of Coolgardie in Western Australia’s Goldfields.

Why join Minerals 260? We’re looking for a practical, experienced Health & Safety Superintendent to join our owner’s team as the Project progresses through early works, construction, commissioning and the transition to operations. Joining at this stage gives you the opportunity to help establish the site’s Health, Safety and Emergency Services framework, influence how systems work in the field and develop the capability needed for a successful transition to operations.

About the role: Reporting to the Manager Construction Operations, you'll lead the Company's H&S and Emergency Services teams and day-to-day activities, oversee the MSMS and verify critical controls and emergency response capability. You'll contribute to H&S strategy, system improvements, budgets and resourcing, while working with Project leadership, the EPC and contractors to lead owner assurance, reinforce Company standards and manage interface risks.

  • Provide visible field leadership, contribute to H&S strategy and improvement priorities, coach frontline leaders and champion Stop Work Authority.
  • Develop and improve MSMS elements, management plans and procedures; monitor compliance with legislation and Company standards; lead audits, consultation and regulatory liaison.
  • Lead risk assessments, verify critical controls, investigate significant incidents and high-potential events, and ensure corrective actions are effective.
  • Lead the site Emergency Services team, maintain emergency plans, build response capability and deliver drills and exercises.
  • Coordinate hygiene monitoring, health surveillance, fitness for work, injury management and return to work, working with HR and specialist providers.
  • Lead H&S input to contractor selection, mobilisation and performance reviews, verify compliance with Company requirements and coordinate interfaces between construction, commissioning and operations teams.
  • Provide clear reporting on incidents, trends, material risks and assurance findings, and track actions through to effective close‑out.
  • Lead H&S and Emergency Services readiness activities, including commissioning safety, pre-start reviews and handover, and develop systems and resourcing arrangements for operations.
  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and rostering; coach direct reports, review performance and oversee H&S induction and competency requirements.
  • Contribute to budgets and forecasts, monitor expenditure, manage service-provider performance and exercise approved financial delegations.

About you: A Diploma or tertiary qualification in WHS, OHS, Engineering or a related discipline. At least eight years' H&S experience in mining, construction or major projects, including three years in a Superintendent or management role leading teams. Experience managing or working closely with emergency response teams. Strong knowledge of WA WHS requirements, mine safety management systems and critical risk management. Experience leading complex incident investigations, with ICAM Lead Investigator training or equivalent. Strong technical writing skills and experience managing departmental budgets. An understanding of statutory responsibilities and requirements associated with SSE coverage. Owner's-team experience in an EPC environment, gold processing plant construction or commissioning, and project-to-operations transitions will be highly regarded.

Minerals 260 is an equal opportunity employer committed to a safe, diverse and inclusive workplace.
