- Mil-tek Waste Solutions Pty Ltd – Tuggerah NSW
Are you the \"go-to\" person who can fix just about anything?
Do you have a \"knack\" for understanding how things work, from hydraulic jacks to electrical circuits?
If you're a multi-skilled tradesperson or a high-level handyman who is tired of the same old routine and looking for a career with a path forward, we want to talk to you.
At Mil-tek Waste Solutions, we take pride in our \"small team, big impact\" culture.
We don't just need a technician; we need a Service Consultant—someone who is as good with people as they are with a set of tools.
What's in it for you?
The \"Trade-Up\" Opportunity: If you have the mechanical \"grit\" but lack the electrical tickets, we'll pay for your Restricted Electrical License.
We invest in your skills so you can grow with us.
A Better Way to
Work: Based in Tuggerah, we share the load.
You'll spend 2–3 days in the Sydney Metro area (beating the M1 traffic with our shared rotation) and the rest of the week at our Central Coast workshop.
Variety is the Spice: One day you're at a high-end hotel, the next you're at a major logistics hub. You aren't stuck in one spot pulling cable or laying bricks all day.
The Tools to Succeed: A modern, fully-stocked service van, the latest tech for reporting (no more paperwork!), and a supportive team that actually has your back.
What you'll be doing
Diagnosing & Fixing: Working on our world-class European balers and compactors. It's a mix of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical work.
Being a \"Hero\" for Clients: Installing equipment, training their staff, and making sure they are getting the most out of their sustainability gear.
Representing the Brand: You are the face of Mil-tek. You'll build relationships with our customers and help them find better ways to manage their waste.
Who are you?
The Ultimate All-Rounder: You might come from a mechanical, automotive, hydraulic, or general technical background.
If you're a \"Jack of All Trades\" with a logical mind, you'll fit right in.
The Professional: You're well-presented and can hold a conversation with anyone from a business owner to a floor worker.
The Learner: You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and learn a new, specialized trade.
The Basics: You have a current manual driver's license and a proactive, \"can-do\" attitude.
