We are seeking a
Network / Hosting Engineer to join the Technical Team at Micronet Systems (Australia) Pty Ltd. This is a full-time position based in
Sutherland .
In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our systems, directly assisting our business operations, enabling our teams to support our valued customers.
What you'll do
- Internal support that keeps the Micronet team moving
- Hosted support ticket resolution
- Early-morning priority calls from hosted customers
- Maintenance that runs during downtime
- Handling SOC alerts from Macquarie Cloud Services security team
- Maintenance, patching and testing of our environments
- Escalated technical issues across hosted and local infrastructure
What we're looking for
- Willingness to be on call and work after hours (remuneration included)
- Solid experience across multiple SQL Server environments
- Hands-on RDS experience
- SQL experience is desirable
- Understanding of Saa S platforms
- Hands-on experience with virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (Azure)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Someone who can work well in a small team
- Superior communication skills and command of the English language
