- Develop network architecture designs that meet business and technical requirements.
- Define network standards, principles and design documentation to support consistent delivery.
- Review existing network environments and identify practical improvements to performance, resilience and scalability.
- Provide technical guidance for network infrastructure projects, from planning through to implementation.
- Assess proposed network solutions and provide recommendations that align with architectural requirements.
- Work with technology stakeholders to translate business needs into clear network designs.
- Maintain architecture roadmaps that guide future network investment and technical decisions.
- Resolve complex network design matters and document clear options for decision-makers.
- Profile
- 12+ years' experience designing and operating large-scale network infrastructure.
- Proven experience as a Principal Network Architect, Lead Network Architect, Distinguished Engineer or similar senior technical role.
- Deep expertise across carrier-grade or hyperscale backbone environments.
- Strong experience with IP/MPLS, Segment Routing, EVPN and large-scale routing architectures.
- Hands-on knowledge of optical transport technologies including DWDM and OTN.
- Demonstrated experience designing resilient network architectures with physical-route diversity and SRLG considerations.
- Experience leading architecture governance, technical assurance and design reviews.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage technical and executive audiences.
- Confidence providing clear technical advice on complex network design matters.
- Highly Desirable
- Experience with subsea cable networks and international connectivity.
- Exposure to AI, HPC or GPU-driven infrastructure environments.
- Experience supporting Infini Band, RDMA or Ro CE-based networking environments.
