A Not for Profit organisation based in Melbournes inner North.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of key finance transformation initiatives, including TechnologyOne (Cia) enhancements, FloQast implementation, AP automation and Chart of Accounts redesign.
- Coordinate project activities from requirements gathering through to testing, implementation and transition into business-as-usual operations.
- Work closely with finance stakeholders to redesign and improve finance processes aligned to new system capabilities.
- Support transactional data migration activities, mapping, reconciliation and data validation.
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution and implementation support.
- Develop process documentation, training materials and user guides for finance stakeholders.
- Train and support finance users through system and process changes.
- Act as a key advocate for change by working collaboratively with the broader finance team and helping embed new ways of working.
- Apply strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly around AASB/IFRS standards including IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
- Partner with both Financial Accounting and FP&A teams on projects that impact financial reporting and management reporting outcomes.
- Provide support across budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis and financial models where required.
Qualifications
- A strong background in accounting and finance, 3 -5 years minimum
- Proficiency in Technology One and Excel
- CPA/CA qualification
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and compliance requirements.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Contract & Location
- 12 Month Fixed-term contract role
- Immeidate Start or Short Notice Periods
- Based in Northern Suburbs (1 day a week, 4 days WFH)
- Competitive salary approx 120k + Super
