Miami Bakehouse is one of WA's most awarded and well-known bakery brands. From our central production Bakery in Mandurah, we produce high volumes of fresh, handcrafted bakery products daily for our retail network across WA's Southwest.

We are now seeking an experienced Bakery Manager to join our Senior Management Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Baker, Pastrycook or Pastry Chef who has developed strong management skills and is ready to take ownership of a large-scale bakery operation.

We're looking for someone who understands the demands of bakery production, enjoys leading people and knows how to deliver results through strong systems, teamwork and accountability.

The Role

This is a full-time, hands‑on management role based at our central production kitchen in Mandurah. Reporting to the General Manager and working as part of the Senior Management Team, you will take ownership of production performance across the bakery.

Your focus will be driving results across labour efficiency, wastage control, meeting daily production requirements and product quality, while ensuring strong operational discipline across all shifts.

You will directly lead our Cake and Bread teams, as well as supporting and developing team leaders across our other production departments to ensure consistent performance, well‑organised operations and high‑quality products.

Your technical bakery knowledge will be a valuable asset, but your primary focus will be leading people, managing production and driving operational performance.

You will be visible on the production floor, closely connected to your people and actively identifying opportunities to improve workflow, team capability and overall performance.

The role is primarily Monday–Friday, with flexibility required across production hours and weekends as needed.

About You

This role will suit an experienced Baker, Pastrycook or Pastry Chef who has progressed into a management or leadership position and enjoys the challenge of running a successful production operation.

You may currently be working as a Bakery Manager, Production Manager, Head Baker, Head Pastry Chef or in another senior bakery leadership role.

To succeed, you will need to be:

• An experienced bakery or pastry professional with proven leadership and management experience
• A confident, hands‑on leader who can motivate, coach and develop people
• Highly organised, with strong systems, planning and follow-through
• Comfortable having direct conversations, setting clear expectations and holding others accountable
• Experienced in managing production schedules, labour, rostering and operational performance
• Process‑driven, with a practical mindset for continuous improvement
• Calm under pressure, with strong attention to detail
• Committed to maintaining consistent product quality, food safety and production standards

Above all, we're looking for someone who leads by example, takes ownership and understands that great production results come from well‑led teams.
