Established in 1988, M&G Motors is a well-established, family-owned automotive business that has proudly served Melbourne for almost 40 years. Located in Braybrook in Melbourne’s western suburbs, we offer more than 250 quality used vehicles and operate two fully equipped workshops specialising in servicing, repairs and maintenance across a wide range of makes and models. About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, self‑motivated and experienced mechanic who takes pride in their work and can confidently service, diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles. The successful applicant will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Salary is negotiable based on experience, and we are prepared to pay well above award rates for the right candidate.
Skills & Experience
- A recognised Trade Qualification as a Motor Mechanic
- A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
- A current Australian driver's licence
- Experience servicing, diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment
- A reliable, professional and self‑motivated approach
- The ability to complete basic workshop paperwork and documentation
- A commitment to maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
- A willingness to continue learning and developing your skills
Additional licences or qualifications, including a Roadworthy Certificate licence, will be highly regarded.
