About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Barista duties including the taking and processing of coffee orders whilst upholding quality and consistency, machine maintenance and cleanliness.
- Preparation and serving of food items for sale.
- Provide exceptionally high level of customer focused service at all service points and at all times throughout all internal Retail outlets.
- Use of Point of Sale System to take orders, appropriately capture sales, accept payment (cash and EFTPOS) and provide change and refunds (as required).
- Ability to work in a busy environment, either as an individual or as part of a team, with an ability to prioritise tasks and manage time autonomously.
- Display product knowledge to assist customers with menu item descriptions and to make informed decisions about products by providing suggestions of accompaniments or suitable alternatives.
