About the Opportunity

We're looking for someone who can connect the dots, bring teams together and turn big ideas into real results! At Metcash, we're looking for a Head of Integrated Planning to lead and shape how we plan, prioritise and execute initiatives that drive sales growth across our IGA supermarket network. This is an exciting opportunity to build a connected, end-to-end planning approach, bringing together Commercial, Merchandise, Retail, Marketing and State teams to ensure we're focused on what matters most.
In this Role, You Will:
- Connect the big picture: Design and lead an integrated planning framework that connects business strategy with annual, quarterly and monthly execution.
- Bring everyone together: Align cross-functional teams around shared priorities, creating a clear and consistent planning rhythm.
- Make priorities count: Lead planning governance, influence key decisions and ensure resources are focused on initiatives that deliver the greatest value.
- Turn plans into action: Partner with State and Retail teams to ensure initiatives are practical, achievable and ready for in-store execution.
- Keep raising the bar: Measure performance, capture learnings and drive continuous improvement to deliver stronger retail outcomes.
You’ll bring:
- Strong experience in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) within FMCG or Retail environments.
- A proven track record in leading end-to-end planning processes and driving cross-functional alignment in complex organisations.
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and the ability to translate business priorities into actionable plans.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage senior leaders, challenge thinking and drive change.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or a related discipline.
