About the Opportunity
Bring your retail experience and project coordination skills to a role where you can make an impact at store level. As a Retail Implementation Specialist in this permanent role based at our Crestmead DC in QLD, you’ll work with retailers, Metcash teams and external partners to help deliver new stores, IGA stores, DSA refurbishments and fit-outs, coordinating store improvement projects to agreed timelines and budgets. This role requiresMetro and Regional Travel.
In this Role
- Partner with retailers, Metcash teams and external parties to develop project plans and timelines.
- Support the planning and delivery of DSA store refurbishment projects.
- Coordinate retail initiatives, including equipment upgrades and purchasing requirements.
- Work with retailers to plan store layouts, whole-store plans and format changes.
- Support store branding, signage and collateral through available Metcash services.
- Develop grocery-layout project plans and budgets for store improvement initiatives.
- Establish project milestones and clear plans to support efficient delivery.
- Coordinate multiple projects against agreed budgets and strict timeframes
What are we looking for?
- Experience with supermarket fit-outs and refurbishments, including layouts, is preferred.
- A minimum of 2-5 years’ retail experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Basic project management and budgeting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret plans.
- Intermeidate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
