Metalmaster Products (Aus) Pty Ltd is a well-established business that has been servicing trades and the public both locally on the Gold Coast and interstate/overseas since 1987. We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship and on producing high-quality products, with a focus on attention to detail. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Aluminium and Stainless Steel Fabricator in both sheet metal and light gauge bar products. This will be a full-time permanent position Monday - Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm with overtime when available.
This position requires a confident, independent person with good communication skills who has the ability to problem solve, make decisions and work by themselves once familiar with our equipment and procedures. Whilst being able to do this, the successful applicant will be working closely with our team of other experienced tradespeople.
Qualifications & experience
Stainless steel & aluminium T.I.G welding experience. Trade qualified sheet metal worker or competent fabricator with T.I.G welding experience
Driver's license essential with own transport
Forklift license (or willing to obtain)
Tasks & responsibilities
Welding TIG & MIG - aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel, brass & copper fabricating
Cutting & folding sheet to close tolerances
Custom fabrication. RHS & SHS frames, gates, toolboxes, ute canopies, water tanks, fuel tanks, water features.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality work
Strong problem-solving skills
Maintain a safe and tidy work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude towards work
Will offer training in specialised certified T.I.G welding if required
Development of new skills from exposure to large variety of projects
Work within a long-established business alongside a highly skilled team
Central location in Burleigh Heads.
