ABOUT THE ROLE
The Structures Site Foreman will be responsible for the onsite management of a project, including managing sub-contractors, leading hands and labourers. The role requires a person who is self-motivated, extremely capable, adaptable and innovative, and has experience leading and managing construction projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS
- Managing projects including daily site supervision
- Coordinating and liaising with subcontractors
- Managing leading hand and labourers
- Developing strong relationships with clients
- Coordinating Site OH&S, QA and Environmental requirements
- Maintaining and updating project programs
QUALIFICATIONS
Suitable applicants must have:
- At least five years experience in the Australian construction industry
- Demonstrated previous structures construction experience
- Sound knowledge of building products, processes and trades
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Hammertech knowledge a bonus
- Ability to work autonomously and within a small team
REMUNERATION
Merkon will pay the successful candidate an attractive package, to be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
