Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 12 months experience in hotel reception
- Intermediate or higher computer skills including Microsoft products
- Current QLD RSA (or ability to obtain within 3 days of employment)
- Hands-on, proactive and guest-focused approach
- Ability to work a 7 day roster across both day and night shifts
Tasks & responsibilities
- Check guests in and out
- Reservations
- Respond to incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
- Operate PABX telephone system
- Coordinate meeting room facilities
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of reception area
- Knowledge of local area
- Handle customer requests and complaints
- Follow Accor policies and procedures + OHS procedures
