Melton Mazda is looking for an experienced Retail Sales Manager to join our team.
We're looking for someone who enjoys being on the showroom floor, working alongside the sales team and getting involved in the day to day running of the dealership.
This is a hands-on role, so we're after someone who is comfortable meeting and greeting customers, supporting the team with deals and occasionally stepping in to manage sales themselves.
You'll play an important part in driving sales performance, maintaining a positive team environment and making sure our customers receive a great experience from the moment they walk through the door.
About the Role
Lead and support the sales team to achieve individual and dealership targets.
Be actively involved on the showroom floor, meeting and greeting customers.
Assist with negotiating and closing deals, while occasionally managing your own sales.
Coach and develop the team to improve performance and customer service.
Oversee the day-to-day retail sales operations.
Monitor sales activity, follow-ups and customer enquiries.
Work closely with the Dealer Principal to identify opportunities and improve results.
Ensure customers receive a professional and positive experience throughout the sales process.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous automotive sales experience, ideally in a Sales Manager or senior sales role.
Is confident negotiating deals and closing sales.
Enjoys leading a team but isn't afraid to get involved themselves.
Has strong communication and customer service skills.
Can motivate and support others while holding the team accountable.
Is organised, approachable and comfortable working in a busy dealership environment.
Holds a current driver's licence.
