About the role: As a 3rd Year Apprentice Hairdresser at Melissa Mae Hair & Extensions, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced stylists, build your confidence on the salon floor and continue developing your technical skills in a premium, extension-focused environment. You don't need to have previous extension experience - full hair extension training will be provided.

• Assist with and perform a range of salon services appropriate to your level of training
• Develop your skills in colour, cutting, styling and hair extension services
• Assist senior stylists with extension applications, maintenance and transformations
• Learn how to properly prepare, apply, maintain and remove premium hair extensions
• Assist with personalised client consultations and learn how to recommend suitable services and products
• Provide a warm, friendly and professional experience for every client
• Maintain a clean, organised and high-standard salon environment
• Continue developing your technical skills through hands-on training and education
• Build confidence working independently while having the support of an experienced team around you
• Work towards building your own clientele and becoming a confident, fully qualified stylist

About you:

• Currently completing your 3rd Year Hairdressing Apprenticeship
• Preferred candidate can apply solid tint colours & foils with little supervision
• Passionate about hair and excited to continue developing your skills
• Eager to learn and take direction
• Positive, reliable and hardworking
• Great communication and customer service skills
• A genuine interest in hair extensions and creating beautiful hair
• Someone who brings good energy and positive vibes to the salon
