About the role
Provide technical leadership for Prosthetics & Orthotics fabrication services across RMH Parkville and RMH Royal Park. Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality device production. Lead and support technical staff through supervision, education and performance guidance. Drive quality control, materials innovation and compliance with safe operating procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Technical Officer team, providing coaching, feedback and performance support.
- Oversee daily fabrication workflow to ensure high-quality, timely production of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
- Drive innovation in fabrication techniques and materials while maintaining rigorous quality control standards.
- Strengthen communication and collaboration between technical and clinical teams.
