Junior Hire Controller – 6-Month Trainee Program
We\'re looking for a motivated person to join our hire desk as a Junior Hire Controller. You\'ll start on our 6-month in-house training program. You don't need any industry experience, because we\'ll teach you everything on the job. If you do well, the program can lead to a full-time permanent role.
Key responsibilities
Take hire bookings by phone and email, and give customers quotes
Plan deliveries and pickups with our transport and workshop teams
Allocate machines and keep track of what\'s on hire at each site
Enter and update hire contracts in our hire system
Handle off-hires, extensions and customer questions
Support the sales and admin team when needed
About you
Good communicator who\'s comfortable on the phone
Organised, with a good eye for detail
Confident on a computer (Outlook, Excel)
Keen to learn and build a career in the hire industry
A team player who stays calm when things get busy
An interest in construction or machinery is a bonus
