About the Role
Wyong Hospital is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Consultant Psychiatrist to join its dynamic mental health team. This role focuses on providing high-quality psychiatric care within the hospital’s Adult Acute Inpatient Mental Health Unit, which supports patients requiring short- to medium-term admission for assessment and treatment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive psychiatric care in a multidisciplinary inpatient setting
- Supporting clinical decision-making and recovery-oriented care
- Providing leadership and supervision to junior medical staff and trainees
- Contributing to service development and integration of culturally safe practices
