Job Description
This is a locum doctor role for a Radiology Consultant at Wagga Wagga in NSW.
Role Info Key requirements
- AHPRA specialist registration and appropriate specialist recognition.
- Credentialing and recent practice in Tier B interventional radiology.
- Perform elective and urgent IR procedures, including peri-procedural patient management.
- Provide procedural reporting and specialist advice to referring and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in agreed working hours, additional hours as required and the after-hours on-call roster.
Travel and accommodation support will be provided or reimbursed in accordance with agreed arrangements and prior approval. Wagga Wagga Base Hospital is seeking a skilled Tier B Interventional Radiologist to provide locum coverage within a regional referral hospital setting. The role will support timely access to elective and urgent interventional procedures, inpatient and emergency care, and broader diagnostic radiology services, working closely with local medical, nursing and medical imaging teams.
