If your favourite part of physio is rehabbing people through movement, and Pilates is how you like to do it, this role is built around that.

About the practice

  • This is a physio-led studio on Sydney’s Northern Beaches that began as a place to heal through movement and has grown into a studio covering the full range, from rehab through to performance.
  • Physiotherapists and qualified Pilates instructors work together, so clients move between hands‑on treatment and Pilates in the same space.

Physiotherapy:

  • Hands‑on, evidence‑based treatment and rehabilitation
  • Rehab Pilates for people recovering from injury or managing pain
  • Semi‑private studio sessions, with small groups of 2 to 4
  • Reformer and mat classes across levels

About the role

  • You’ll be a physio whose main tool is movement. Pilates is central to how you assess, prescribe and progress clients, rather than something added on at the end.
  • Rehabilitate clients through movement and Pilates, from early recovery through to strength and performance
  • Assess clients and build individual programs that use Pilates as the core of their rehab
  • Run one‑on‑one and semi‑private sessions, and contribute to rehab‑focused classes
  • Use hands‑on treatment where it supports the program
  • Work alongside the physios and instructors on the team, and refer between treatment and Pilates as needed
  • Keep clear notes and track client progress

What we’re looking for

  • Current AHPRA general registration as a Physiotherapist
  • A Diploma in Pilates
  • Ideally at least 3 years’ experience as a physiotherapist
  • A genuine preference for rehab through movement and Pilates over a traditional treatment room caseload
  • Strong communication skills and a clear, confident coaching style
  • Comfortable working across one‑on‑one and small group settings

What’s on offer

  • A package and hours that are based on your experience
  • A purpose‑built studio with a full range of Pilates formats and equipment
  • A team where physios and Pilates instructors genuinely collaborate
  • A role where Pilates is the centre of your clinical work, with a varied caseload from rehab through to performance

Location

Based in Frenchs Forest, on the Northern Beaches. It’s close to the hospital precinct, surrounded by bushland and a short drive from the beaches at Manly and Dee Why, with plenty of cafes nearby for lunch breaks.
