Plenty of people walk into a physio clinic with a headache and walk out with a heat pack and a vague plan. This clinic takes a different approach. Neck-related headaches, migraine-linked neck symptoms and stubborn musculoskeletal pain are a core part of the work, and treatment is built around hands-on skills, not a standard exercise sheet. You’d be joining an owner-led practice in a modern, shared healthcare setting. It’s a small team where your cases are your own and your clinical reasoning is valued.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assessing and treating neck pain, cervicogenic headaches and a broad range of MSK presentations
- Using manual therapy, dry needling and tailored exercise to get people moving and back to what matters to them
- Managing a mixed caseload, including private, WorkCover, CTP, DVA, NDIS, aged care and chronic disease management patients
- Running pre and post surgical rehab, plus practical extras such as postural correction and CAM boot fitting
- Writing clear notes and reports for insurers, GPs and case managers
What you’ll bring:
- Current AHPRA registration
- A solid MSK foundation and confident hands-on skills
- Interest in neck pain and headaches, or a keen interest in learning more about them
- Dry needling training (or willingness to train) and manual therapy experience
- Familiarity with NSW WorkCover and CTP processes is a plus, but not essential
What’s in it for you:
- Full time or part time hours, to be discussed to suit you
- Strong patient demand, with an established waiting list, so your diary can fill steadily
- A varied caseload across many funding types, so no two days look the same
- The chance to build real depth in headache and neck care, which many clinics don’t offer
- A modern clinic with an online booking system and strong referrer relationships
- A small team where you’ll work closely with the principal physiotherapist, with a voice in how things run
Location: The role is based in Rhodes, on the Parramatta River in Sydney’s inner west. There’s a train station, waterfront walks and plenty of lunch spots nearby, so it’s an easy place to work.
