Northern Gardens is looking for passionate and reliable Food Services Assistants (FSA's) to join our casual workforce. Whether you're looking for extra shifts, flexibility around other commitments, or the opportunity to work with a supportive aged care team, we'd love to hear from you.
About The Role
As a Food Services Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting our residents to enjoy nutritious, delicious meals in a safe and welcoming environment. Working as part of our care and hospitality team, you will:
- Assist with meal preparation and food service
- Prepare and serve meals and refreshments to residents
- Follow food safety, hygiene and infection control requirements
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and dining environment
- Assist with cleaning and general kitchen duties
- Support residents with a friendly, respectful and person-centred approach
- Work collaboratively with the broader care team
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about providing excellent service to older people
- Friendly, caring and approachable
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Previous experience in food services, hospitality or aged care is desirable, but not essential
