We are seeking Enrolled and Registered Nurses available for casual shifts between Monday to Friday, to work between the Transition Care Service (TCS) in Adelaide's CBD and Walkerville.
The Amplar Home Hospital TCS provides welcoming locations for public hospital patients who no longer require acute care. Here, patients can rest and recover in comfort, while helping free up hospital beds for those who are acutely unwell.
No two days will be the same: you'll care for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, helping them regain strength and confidence, in this sub‐acute hospital setting.
Your opportunity
This opportunity will provide you a chance to bring your nursing experience to provide comprehensive care to patients with a broad range of needs in a new dynamic setting outside of the hospital, in addition to:
- Delivery high quality patient care
- Coordination and delivery of high-quality patient centred care within a multidisciplinary environment
- Respond confidently to clinical changes and other emergency situations
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training
About you
You'll enjoy working in a role that offers variety, flexibility, and work‐life balance, within a supportive team environment.
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration with at least 2 years' experience.
- Hold current First Aid and CPRcertificates.
- Hold a South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or are willing and eligible to obtain).
- If successful, willing and able to provide proof of up-to‐date vaccinations.
