The Fire Services Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems. Based in Dandenong South, servicing Victoria, this permanent full-time position involves the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire safety equipment, contributing to the overall safety standards of our projects and clients. Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair fire protection systems, including alarms and extinguishers.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire safety equipment to ensure compliance with Australian standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with fire safety systems and implement effective solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports on inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed.
- Collaborate to integrate fire safety measures into building designs.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on fire safety protocols and equipment usage.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and advancements in fire safety technology.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in fire safety or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Fire Services Technician or in a similar role within the building and construction industry.
