We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dermal Therapist/Beauty Therapist to join our award winning team at Me Skin and Body in South Yarra, VIC. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst allowing you to deliver exceptional skin treatments to our valued clients. As a Dermal Therapist/Beauty Therapist, you will be at the heart of our business, providing professional therapeutic treatments that enhance our clients' confidence and wellbeing. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and delivering the high-quality service our clients expect.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting thorough skin analysis and consultations with clients to determine their specific skincare needs and concerns
- Performing a range of dermal treatments including laser treatments with Cutera ExcelV, Laser Genesis, Lutronic LaseMD, Pastelle Q Switch, bespoke facials, chemical peels, skin needling, LED and more.
- Applying advanced skincare techniques and utilising professional-grade products to achieve optimal client results
- Providing expert advice on skincare routines, product recommendations, and aftercare instructions
- Maintaining detailed client records and tracking treatment progress and outcomes
- Ensuring all treatment areas are sanitised and prepared to the highest hygiene standards
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat bookings
- Staying current with industry trends and continuously developing your skills through professional development
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment and supporting colleagues
What we’re looking for
- Qualification as a Dermal Therapist or Beauty Therapist recognised in Australia
- Demonstrated experience in providing dermal treatments in a skin clinic environment
- Strong knowledge of skincare products, techniques, and contra-indications
- Excellent communication and consultation skills with the ability to listen to client needs and provide tailored solutions
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently manage your client schedule
- A genuine passion for skincare, beauty, and client wellbeing
- Current First Aid certification is highly desirable
- 3 years of proven experience with advanced treatments including laser skin treatments is essential.
