We’re seeking an experienced Outlet Manager to lead our outlet team at our Alexandria site. You’ll drive sales and customer service while keeping stock moving and protecting profit margins. A key part of the role is finding practical, commercially sound ways to sell end-of-line, clearance and seconds stock.

You’ll also build a strategy for larger trade and bulk sales of end-of-line stock, including opportunities to sell directly from the warehouse. This means developing a pipeline of potential buyers and having well-planned offers or stock combinations ready to help drive larger sales when needed, while maintaining margin within agreed pricing and approval guidelines.

The outlet has a high volume of stock and deliveries moving in and out. You’ll coordinate third-party carrier collections and drop-offs, as well as customer collections of large and heavy items. You’ll need to keep these movements organised and safe for the team, customers and carriers.

You’ll lead outlet operations, coach the team and deliver customer experiences that build lasting relationships. The role requires one day of work on weekends, with weekend coverage during busy sale periods.

  • Lead day-to-day outlet operations and maintain high standards of customer service
  • Develop and execute sales plans that drive revenue, strong stock turnover and target achievement
  • Find proactive, creative ways to sell clearance, end-of-line and seconds stock while maintaining profit margins
  • Develop trade and bulk sales opportunities for end-of-line stock, including sales fulfilled directly from the warehouse

  • Mentor and coach team members to build capability and achieve strong performance
  • Process orders and manage client enquiries through Shopify with accuracy
  • Oversee outlet presentation, visual merchandising and stock management
  • Coordinate stock movements, transfers and clearance activity with logistics and warehouse teams
  • Plan and coordinate third-party carrier collections and deliveries, along with customer collections
  • Keep stock movements organised and safe, following company procedures for handling and collection of large or heavy goods
  • Track client interactions and share insights on customer needs, sales and stock trends

About you

  • Proven showroom, retail or outlet management experience
  • Strong leadership and sales coaching skills, with a record of achieving or exceeding targets

  • Able to spot and develop trade and bulk sales opportunities
  • Passionate about customer service, design and furniture
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused
  • Organised and confident coordinating busy stock movements and collections
  • Committed to maintaining a safe, well-run environment for staff, customers and carriers
