We are looking for a friendly, reliable and organised Medical Receptionist to join our established GP practices in McKinnon and Sandringham. Casual and part-time opportunities are available, with ongoing regular hours and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts across both clinics.
Our clinics operate Monday to Friday, with rostered shifts between 7:30 am and 8:00 pm. No weekend roster.
Pay: Pay rates vary depending on employment type, experience and classification, plus superannuation.
Medical reception experience is highly regarded; however, we are happy to train the right person who has strong customer service skills, confidence with computers and the right attitude.
Key responsibilities:
- Greeting and checking in patients
- Answering phone enquiries
- Managing appointments
- Processing payments and Medicare-related administration
- Managing correspondence and patient information
- Supporting doctors, nurses and the wider practice team
About you:

Medical reception or GP practice experience is highly regarded, and Best Practice experience is an advantage, but neither is essential for the right candidate.
Availability: This is an ongoing position; however, strong availability from October through December is essential, including the Christmas/New Year period when rostered.
