Mc Cullochs Hydraulic Engineers is seeking experienced Hydraulic Fitters, Mechanical Fitters and Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our Bendigo-based team.
With over 80 years of industry experience, we provide specialist hydraulic engineering, maintenance and repair services across a broad range of industries.
This is an excellent opportunity for tradespeople who enjoy hands‑on fault-finding, working on different types of equipment and getting out in the field to solve problems.
About the Role
- Carry out field service, breakdown repairs and maintenance at customer sites.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic and mechanical faults on mobile and fixed plant.
- Service and overhaul hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, valves and associated equipment.
- Undertake hydraulic system testing, troubleshooting and commissioning.
- Work across a diverse range of machinery, equipment and industries.
What We're Looking For
- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter, Hydraulic Fitter, Heavy Diesel Mechanic or similar.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with mobile plant, heavy equipment or industrial machinery.
- Ability to work independently in the field and as part of a team.
- Current driver's licence (essential).
- Forklift licence (desirable).
- MR/HR Truck license (desirable).
