Production Officer in Melbourne

McArthur is seeking candidates with demonstrated experience in data and document processing, particularly within high-volume environments. This is an excellent opportunity to join a Federal Government production team, providing administrative support across a range of document processing functions, including scanning, data verification, document enhancement and records management. Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to follow established policies and procedures are essential to success in this role!

This opportunity would suit candidates with previous Federal Government experience or exposure to high-volume document processing and administrative environments. You will be joining a supportive and welcoming team in a relaxed working environment, with a casual contract through to June 2027 and potential for extension. The position offers full-time hours and is conveniently located in Melbourne's CBD.

To be considered for the opportunity, you must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scanning, digitization and quality checking of forms, photographs and supporting documentation.
• Manual sorting, separation and organisation of incoming documentation and attachments.
• Identifying and managing processing exceptions, including incorrectly classified or incomplete documentation.
• Records management, including document filing, destruction and general mail sorting.
• General administrative and production support, including data verification, image enhancement, quality assurance and ad hoc duties.

Key requirements:

• You must be an Australian Citizen
• You have the ability to obtain a Baseline security Clearance
• Demonstrated experience in document processing & data verification
• Prior exposure to Government environments, policy and legislation.
• Strong attention to detail, with level written and verbal communication skills.
