About the Organisation

Based in Melbourne's inner north-west, this provider delivers comprehensive in-home assessments and reviews for older Australians, working collaboratively with clients, families, carers, and service providers to connect people with the right supports at the right time.

Why Join Us?

  • Highly competitive casual rate - $69.81/hr + 12% super
  • Weekly pay
  • Long-term assignment with a leading healthcare provider
  • Work alongside a cohesive, multi-disciplinary team, sharing knowledge and expertise
  • Full flexibility to work as much or as little as you like, with the ability to take extended leave
  • Supportive, collaborative team culture with ongoing training and professional development

The Role

You'll conduct autonomous, person-centred assessments to determine the care and support older Australians need to live safely and independently at home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct timely, holistic assessments that support independence and quality of life
  • Liaise with families, carers, and service providers as key stakeholders in the assessment process
  • Manage your own assessment schedule in line with Department of Health timelines and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate, high-quality documentation and reporting

Note: This role involves travel within the northern or western metro region.

What We're Looking For

  • Comprehensive Assessor certification, with recent hands-on experience as a Clinical/Comprehensive Assessor within the Single Assessment Service
  • Tertiary qualification in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Allied Health, or Social Work
  • Strong working knowledge of aged care legislation, CHSP, and Support at Home
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Valid Australian driver's licence and fully insured vehicle

Why This Role Stands Out

This is a role for experienced professionals who want genuine control over their work-life balance without compromising on the quality or complexity of the work they do. Whether you're building a business on the side, scaling back for family or study, planning around school holidays, or easing into semi-retirement - this role flexes around your life, not the other way around.

Full-time or part-time. Your schedule, your choice.
