The Role
Due to continued growth, MCA Engineering is seeking experienced Underground Servicemen, Timbermen and Service Crew personnel to join our team on a major underground construction project in Central West NSW. Depending on your experience, your duties may include:
- Installing, extending and maintaining underground mine services
- Installing and maintaining ventilation, water, air and dewatering services
- Installing pipes, cables and associated infrastructure
- Completing rock drilling as required for underground construction and service installations
- Assisting with general underground construction and service crew duties
- Inspecting work areas, equipment and services
- Working closely with supervisors and other underground personnel
- Completing all work safely and in accordance with site procedures
About You
- Previous experience as an Underground Serviceman, Timberman or Service Crew member
- Demonstrated underground mining experience
- Experience installing and maintaining underground services
- Relevant licences, tickets and competencies for the role
- Ability to work safely and follow site procedures
- Availability to work a 2:1 roster across day and night shifts
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
