PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As a member of the global software development team, this role will be to enhance, maintain and support the Company’s in‑house electronic trading system.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To enhance, maintain and support the in‑house trading platform
- Collaborate and engage with fellow team members including Traders, Quants and Infrastructure personnel
- Contribute to system architecture decisions to ensure low‑latency/scalable/efficient/reliable solutions
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Essential
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, and equivalent work experience.
Skills
- Strong demonstrable skills and track record in programming C++
- Strong demonstrable skills and track record in developing on a Linux/gcc platform
- Experience with profiling/optimising software algorithms
- Experience with network programming, multithreaded programming, inter-process communications
- Experience with distributed architecture systems

- Financial experience: market feeds and order execution API's, derivatives trading
