Are you an experienced Receptionist looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to join our team at Monbulk Xray & Imaging, based in Monbulk, VIC. This part-time position will see you playing a vital role in the smooth running of our medical imaging practice, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
Candidates must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
What you'll be doing
Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Managing patient bookings and scheduling appointments
Handling patient enquiries and providing information about our services
Communication with healthcare providers
Performing general administrative duties such as data entry, scanning, and answering phone calls
Follow up calls to patients after procedures
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a medical or imaging receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in medical reception or healthcare customer service is required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues in a compassionate and professional manner
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient data entry
Proficiency in using Computers and Microsoft Office applications, Diary Management system experience will be highly regarded
A friendly, patient-focused approach and a genuine interest in providing high-quality customer service
