About the role
We’re looking for an Operations Analyst to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll support a range of day-to-day operational activities, including static data management, managed fund pricing, security set‑up and Fixed Coupon Note (FCN) processing. You’ll work closely with the broader team to ensure processes are completed accurately and efficiently, while building your knowledge of our systems, products and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managed Funds Pricing & Static Data: Support and manage pricing for manually priced managed funds, including validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution. Perform security set‑up and ongoing static data maintenance across internal systems and custody platforms. Support pricing‑related exceptions and client escalations.
- Support for High‑Touch HNW Workflows: Assist in managing elevated operational workload driven by HNW client service requirements, including bespoke holdings and non‑standard assets.
- Fixed Coupon Notes (FCNs): Support the end‑to‑end operational processing of Fixed Coupon Notes, including trade execution support, confirmations, and bookings.
- Alternative Investment Execution (External Platform): Assist with the execution, confirmation, and booking of External Platform trades.
- Process Improvement & Enablement: Assist with documenting and formalising end‑to‑end processes for manual workflows.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Accuracy and attention to detail — meticulous validation of pricing, security data, trade bookings and confirmations.
- Technical product knowledge — a sound understanding of managed funds, Fixed Coupon Notes and alternative investments.
- Risk awareness and judgement — the ability to identify discrepancies and escalate issues.
- Ownership and accountability — taking responsibility for tasks and exceptions through to resolution.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills — investigating pricing differences and reconciliation breaks.
- Organisation and prioritisation — managing competing deadlines without compromising accuracy.
- Clear communication and service orientation — explaining operational issues clearly and coordinating effectively.
- Process improvement mindset — documenting workflows and identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort.
Required General Attributes:
- Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 plus years’ experience in Financial Services. Exposure to Managed Funds, Private Equity, Fixed Income, Equities, and structured products such as Fixed Coupon Notes would be advantageous.
