Austek Roads is expanding its services into ACT and we’re looking for a Bitumen Tanker Driver to join our dynamic team based in Hume, ACT.
We deliver high-quality asphalt surfacing, patching, and civil projects across the ACT and surrounding regions, with a strong reputation for reliability, performance, and customer service.
- What you'll be doing
- Safely operating heavy vehicles, plant & equipment
- Safely carry out labouring duties
- Conduct Pre-Start checks prior to operating any trucks, plant or equipment; reporting any breakdowns or urgent issues immediately
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
- Ensuring a high quality of service, work and workmanship at all times
What we're looking for
- Current holder of a HC (Heavy Combination) heavy vehicle drivers licence
- Current holder of a Dangerous Goods Drivers Licence
- Ability to operate various types of equipment that may include but not limited to light vehicles, cars, loaders, rollers and specific Asphalt Paving equipment
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Silica and Asbestos awareness training
