As a Science Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:
- Strong classroom management and student well-being focus
- Ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
- A tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
The successful applicant will be a highly effective teacher who demonstrates the following:
- A commitment to the Catholic Church and a strong sense of faith
- The capacity to enliven the values of truth, empathy, excellence, curiosity and collaboration in students with regard to the Mission and Vision of Sydney Catholic Schools
- Qualified to teach Stage 4 to 6 Science. Experience teaching Physics and/or Biology is highly desirable
- The ability to demonstrate differentiated pedagogical approaches to teaching and learning
- A willingness to undertake continued professional development and faith formation
- Supports the College’s scholastic initiatives and promote its innovation in light of the Strategic Plan
- Demonstrated strong professional relationships with colleagues
